1. For independent study, I am going to be making an inspiration lookbook that involves perusing through magazines and other sources to pull out and compile in a book.
2. My task relates to my EQ because in order for a window display to be effective, it needs a theme, story or concept. Visual merchandisers always make big inspiration boards to aid them in their creative planning process. After making this, I will have a resource that I can refer to when helping plan window displays.
3. The tasks associated with my independent study that I have completed is that I have compiled plenty of magazines that inspire me. The next specific steps that I need to complete are buying a scrapbook album or something along those lines that I could paste my inspirations on to. I will also start making tear sheets of my inspiration and trying to group things together according to any theme ideas I have.
